Make an animation in Dappi first, so it is in your library.
Open a conversation in Messages on your iPhone.
Tap the plus button and find Dappi in the apps list. You may need to scroll or tap More.
Open Dappi, choose an animation, then send it in the conversation.
Or send directly from Dappi
Open a finished sticker and tap iMessage. After the first use guide, continue to the Messages composer, choose your recipient, and send. The animation is shared as a GIF attachment.
Make a reaction from your photo
Upload a photo and describe what happens. Try a kiss, a slow clap or a happy dance. You can also choose a Dappi recipe. Generate the animation, then add text or emojis and trim the result if you want. See the full creation steps.
Dappi is free to download, with in app purchases. Saving the AI video to your photo library is a paid feature. Check the offer in the app before buying.
Before you send
Is this a GIF or an Apple sticker?+
Dappi sends an animated GIF through Messages. It is not an Apple Live Sticker that you peel onto another message. The Dappi extension gives you access to your animations inside the conversation.
What if Dappi is missing from Messages?+
Check that Dappi is installed and up to date, then look through the full Messages apps list. You can still open a finished sticker in Dappi and use its iMessage button. If that fails, contact Dappi support with your iOS version.
Can I send it in WhatsApp too?+
Yes. Open the sticker in Dappi, tap Copy, then open a WhatsApp conversation and paste into the message box. This shares an individual animation rather than adding an album to the sticker tray.
